When I saw the mood board for “Locally Grown Baby on the way” I immediately thought of doing soft, organic hand drawn illustrations!

I drew fruit and veggie elements and made them into a seamless design loosely based on the "toile de jouy". That is, a french inspired cloth from 18th and 19th century.

The light and airy pattern was then featured in all details: invitations, signage, menus and place cards.
